REPOST | TR3S Production has emerged as the Champion of the 4th Refugee Film Festival Short Film Competition, proving that powerful stories are not measured by the size of a production team, but by the passion and purpose behind them.
Composed of only three student filmmakersโKharl Angelo Manaloto (CPAG), Kissy Pingol (CASS), and Angel Gabrielle Rico (CCS)โTR3S Production entered the competition for the very first time with a shared vision: to tell a story that resonates, inspires, and amplifies voices that deserve to be heard.
What began as a leap of faith became a remarkable achievement. Competing alongside talented filmmakers from across the country, their short film โTambolโ captured the hearts of the judges and audiences alike, ultimately earning the festival's highest recognition.
From their first entry to their first championship, TR3S Production has shown that great stories can come from humble beginnings.
As described by Mr. Atom Araullo, UNHCR National Goodwill Ambassador, the film carries a โhauntingly poeticโ quality with a sense of rawness that showcases its emotional depth and cinematic honesty.
Congratulations, TR3S Production! Your Tarlac State University family celebrates this extraordinary milestone with pride. ๐๐
