🌏📚 Nazarene Compassionate Ministries Asia-Pacific Region Visits APNTS
Asia-Pacific Nazarene Theological Seminary (APNTS) was privileged to host the Nazarene Compassionate Ministries (NCM) of the Asia-Pacific Region for a special campus visit and orientation.
As part of the visit, APNTS shared the inspiring Story of Holistic Child Development (HCD) and its impact in transforming the lives of children, families, and communities across the Asia-Pacific Region. Participants were also introduced to the seminary’s academic offerings related to Holistic Child Development at both the Master’s and Ph.D. levels, which are designed to equip leaders, practitioners, educators, and researchers for effective ministry and community transformation.
The orientation provided an opportunity to explore how theological education and compassionate ministry work hand in hand in developing servant leaders who are committed to holistic mission and child advocacy.
We are grateful for the presence of our NCM Asia-Pacific partners and look forward to continued collaboration in advancing God's mission of compassion, justice, and transformation throughout the region.

Biblical Studies Journey in Turkey Commence Today
Today, Dr. Joy Faraz joins 11 fellow scholars from around the world for an intensive 10-day Biblical Studies in Turkey program. Through a generous scholarship from the Asia Minor Research Center, participants will explore the historical and geographical settings of the New Testament, with special attention to the Seven Churches of Revelation and the early Christian movement in Asia Minor.
The study tour lead by Dr Jason Borges (Durham University) will include visits to Istanbul, Ephesus, Smyrna (Izmir), Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, Laodicea, Pamukkale, and Iznik (ancient Nicaea)—sites that have shaped Christian history and theology for centuries. Walking where the apostles, early church leaders, and the first Christian communities once lived offers a unique opportunity to deepen biblical understanding and spiritual formation.
Please join us in praying for Dr. Joy and the other scholars as they learn, reflect, and engage with Scripture in its historical context. May this journey be enriching, safe, and fruitful, and may the insights gained continue to bless the church, theological education, and ministry throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
