Taga Viejo Nak

From the start of St. Dominic Parish, our facade tells our story. Though not documented, we never forget our humble roots: our first church was made of nipa and bamboo.

These four pictures trace our journey:

• 1st (Post-war to mid-50s): Our earliest recorded form — simple yet steadfast.

• 2nd (Mid-50s to early 90s): A more defined structure, mirroring our growing faith and unity.

• 3rd (Early 90s to 2010): Enhanced beauty and stability, just as our unity and service grew more vibrant.

• 4th (Present): The same church, now with an enhanced, more beautiful facade.

We have walked far hand in hand — this is our synodal journey. And we are excited for what’s next! We plan to enhance our facade again, looking forward to another beautiful surprise, always moving forward while keeping our humble beginnings close.

Welcome to Viejo world!

Taga Viejo nak — that’s who I am. Born and raised here, exposed to our culture, and always excited to know more about our roots.

Just to clarify:

The old group "Taga Cataggaman Viejo nak" that I started is no longer managed by me. It’s already being used by someone else since 2022.

Moving forward:
But I want to continue searching our identity as Viejonian, so I created this page to replace it. This is where I’ll be sharing everything from now on. Thanks for being here and supporting Viejo!
