Tropical Storm Domeng slightly intensifies while moving northwest over the Philippine Sea. It is less likely to directly hit the country in the next 24 hours.

🌧️ Heavy Rain & Wind Outlook:
• Southwesterly winds enhanced by Domeng may bring heavy rains to western PH starting Sunday, 31 May.
• Strong to gale-force gusts expected tomorrow (30 May) in coastal and upland areas of Visayas, Batanes, Cagayan, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, Bicol, Mindanao provinces.
Moderate seas (up to 2.0 m) in eastern seaboards; mariners advised to take precautions.

WEATHER UPDATE | May 27, 2026

As of 8:00 AM today, the Tropical Depression outside PAR has intensified into Tropical Storm “JANGMI”. In addition, a Thunderstorm Watch has been issued over the Greater Metro Manila Area including Metro Manila, Bulacan, Rizal, Laguna, and Cavite within the next 12 hours.

Everyone is advised to stay alert and continue monitoring official updates from DOST-PAGASA. Please prepare for possible heavy rains, thunderstorms, and sudden weather changes.
