Sa panahon ngayon, sobrang hirap nang malaman kung ano ang totoo at peke.
Isang larawan, video, o dokumento — pwede nang gawin ng AI. At halos hindi na natin ito makikita.
Kaya isa sa pinakamahalagang tech trend ngayong 2026 ay ang Digital Provenance.
Ano ang Digital Provenance?
Ito ay isang sistema na nagtatala ng pinagmulan at kasaysayan ng isang digital file (larawan, video, audio, o dokumento). Parang “digital birth certificate” ito na nagpapatunay:

Sino ang gumawa
Kailan at paano ito ginawa
Kung na-edit o ginawa ng AI
Ang buong paglalakbay nito mula sa paggawa hanggang sa pag-share

Bakit Importante Ito?

- Lumalala ang deepfakes at fake news
- Kailangan ng schools, media, at gobyerno na ma-verify kung totoo ang content
- Malaking tulong para maiwasan ang misinformation at plagiarism
- Sinusuportahan na ito ng Google, Microsoft, Adobe, at OpenAI sa pamamagitan ng C2PA standard

Noong April 13, 2013 (eksaktong 13 taon na ang nakalipas ngayon), nagsimulang ipadala ng Google ang unang batch ng Google Glass Explorer Edition sa mga developer at early testers.

Ito ang matapang na hakbang ng Google para dalhin ang Augmented Reality (AR) sa pang-araw-araw na buhay — isang pares ng smart glasses na maaaring:

- Kumuha ng litrato at video gamit ang isang pagsulyap o voice command
- Magpakita ng direksyon, mensahe, at notification diretso sa harap ng mata mo
- Mag-translate ng ibang wika sa real time
- Sumagot ng mga tanong gamit ang Google voice search

Si Sergey Brin pa nga ay nag-demonstrate nito habang skydiving at live-streaming ang buong karanasan!

Ang Google Glass ay sobrang ahead of its time. Ito ang nagpasiklab ng excitement sa buong mundo, nagdulot ng mainit na debate tungkol sa privacy at nagbigay daan sa usapan tungkol sa wearable technology.

Bagamat nahirapan ang consumer version at kalaunan ay tinigil, naging daan ito para sa mga modernong smart glasses, Apple Vision Pro, Meta Ray-Ban smart glasses, at ang buong spatial computing at AR industry na nakikita natin ngayon sa 2026.

Interesting Fact:
Marami sa mga ideya ng Google Glass noong 2013 ay normal na features na ngayon sa mga AR/VR devices at kahit sa AI assistants ng smartphones.

- Deepfake job applicants passing interviews (Experian warns this will explode in 2026).
- Non-consensual deepfake images/nudes targeting teens and schools (1 in 17 teens affected, per studies).

How to spot deepfakes? Quick red flags:

- Lip-sync or blinking that looks unnatural
- Weird lighting, shadows, or mismatched backgrounds
- Robotic voice or sudden facial glitches

How to protect yourself and your family:

1.) Don’t trust video or audio right away – call the person using a known number to verify!
2.) Use AI detection tools (Reality Defender, Hive Moderation, DeepMedia, or free browser extensions).
3.) Never upload personal videos or photos to random AI apps – they can be used against you.

In school: Report suspicious content to IT or your teacher immediately.
