Held from May 25–29, 2026, the event took place at the Railway Learning Factory in ValTech and the TESDA Multipurpose Gymnasium in Taguig City, showcasing world-class skills and excellence in the region.

Valenzuela City Technological College (ValTech) proudly hosted the 2nd Research Colloquium and Philippine Railway Institute ALIGN Roadshow last May 29, 2026, held at the 6th Floor Auditorium.

ALIGN stands for Academic-Linked Initiatives for Guiding National Rail Research — a meaningful step toward advancing relevant, innovative, and industry-aligned studies. This initiative is made even more significant through the strong collaboration with VERAIL and the Philippine Railway Institute (PRI), working hand-in-hand to strengthen research capabilities and set the direction for railway development in the country. With the theme “Technological Innovations for Sustainability,” this gathering showcased research outputs, creative solutions, and technological concepts designed to address real-world needs and support national development.

This activity, highlights ValTech’s commitment to bridging academia and industry — especially in railway technology and sustainable innovations — strengthened by our valuable partnerships. It is not just a venue for sharing ideas, but a platform to nurture critical thinking, creativity, and excellence among our students and researchers.
