When parents know that their child is protected, they may relax. They provide parents with comfort. By putting in place curfew rules, those under the age of 18 will be able to get the most adult supervision feasible, reducing their likelihood of being involved in juvenile crime and violence.

What results from the implementation of curfew hours? After the implementation of curfew regulations, juvenile crime and victimization are most likely to remain stable. Curfew research also covers other topics like effectiveness in detecting illegal behavior, costs of enforcement, displacement of crime, surprising results, and traits of curfew violators. Thus, some of these cases will increase if our curfew hours are weak.
