Tuning in to the world of broadcast journalism. 🎙️

CNHS SPJ Grade 9 students have explored and experienced real-time media operations at various radio stations during their educational site visit in Virac, August 7, 2025.

Among the radio stations they visited are Radyo Pilipinas Virac Catanduanes , Radyo Peryodiko, Catanduanes 87.9 DZbp-Fm and Radyo Natin Virac Online.

This activity aims to let the students observe the day-to-day routines in a station, know the various segments and programs offered, familiarize the technical and ethical aspects of broadcasting, interact with the professionals in the field of broadcast journalism, and gain inspiration into potential career paths in media and communication.

CNHS SPJ Grade 9 students showcased their radio broadcasting skills during the ON-AIR 4.0: Radio Broadcast Presentation of held this morning, March 28, 2025 at CNHS Pagcor 2 Bldg.

Equipped with knowledge from scriptwriting and armed with mastery in technical and delivery, these gave superb presentations during their culminating activity.

The event was attended by their proud parents, SPJ students and friends.
