Teaching internship is where science moves beyond diagrams and definitions to become a lived experience. It is a space where curiosity serves as a compass, questions are welcomed as starting points, and understanding grows through careful observation and guided inquiry. For science educators, teaching is the practice of guiding inquiry and creating opportunities for students to discover ideas independently.

We proudly present the 18 Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Science pre-service teachers, now deployed in partner secondary schools. Equipped with knowledge, discipline, and purpose, they enter classrooms prepared to foster critical thinking, evidence-based reasoning, and a deeper appreciation of the natural world.

As this chapter begins, the BIOSES family stands in full support of these future educators. May you remain grounded in inquiry, steady in purpose, and generous in guidance. While lessons may change, the habit of thinking you nurture will continue long after the classroom doors close.

The Biological Science Educators Society (BIOSES) officially welcomed our Freshmen BSED Science students with the GTK Program on September 3, 2025 and trust us, it was anything but your “typical” assembly.

Instead of boring lectures, we had:
🌱 A crash course on BIOSES
🔬 Upper years spilling the tea about their experiences
📢 Batch name reveals
🗳️ Election for the 1st-year representative
📸 And of course, photo ops because if there are no pics, did it even happen?

The day was packed with laughter, stories, and a little bit of chaos !Here’s to a year of learning, bonding, and proving that Science majors aren’t just about formulas… we’ve got the FUN-mulas too.
