For three consecutive years, the Words and Pictures Extemporaneous Speech Contest has provided a platform for CatSUans to showcase their public speaking prowess and engage with critical issues.
This competition transcends eloquence and technical skill; it is about the courage to step up. It proves that when insightful ideas meet a microphone, even the quietest voice can resonate with many. π€

In its third year, the Words and Pictures Extemporaneous Speech Contest challenged the CatSUans' public speaking prowess and critical thinking skills.
Out of the ten semifinalists from across the university, Princess Kate Araojo, a BS Accountancy student, emerged as the Best Speaker. The College of Health Sciences made a strong showing, with first-year BS Nursing students John Wesley Garbin and Cassandra Louise Polero claiming second and third place, respectively.
Completing the Top 5 were Honey Suzane Hazel Romero in fourth place and Yin-leh Tabuzo in fifth.
The Center also applauds the effort and talent displayed by this year's semifinalists, Ivan Cyrus Reaves, Ron Alexis Rodriguez, Mary France Soriao, Robelyn Tubania, and Mary Rose Celestino.
