Through their weaving expertise, Ilocano artisans safeguard ancestral techniques and patterns, showcasing the creativity, artistry, and deep-rooted traditions of their community.

The inabel produced by Manlilikha ng Bayan Magdalena Gamayo is widely regarded as the finest. Her works boast an exceptionally high thread count and intricate patterns that incorporate up to five colors. The beauty of her inabel lies in the delicate yet uniform weave, making it truly incomparable. MG Gamayo's masterwork breathes life into her creations, and her unique art serves as a testament to the irreplaceable value of human skills and knowledge, surpassing anything machines could ever hope to achieve.
