The College of Business and Accountancy Prepared Snacks for CatSU Dormitory Residents Affected by Typhoon Kristine

Virac, Catanduanes — In response to the aftermath of Typhoon Kristine, the College of Business and Accountancy (CBA) initiated support to those affected students in the Men’s and Ladies Dormitory. CBA Faculty members, students from the Junior Marketing Association (JMA), and the Reserved Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) collaborated to provide snacks to residents of the dormitories on October 24, 2024.

The CBA would like to extend their thanks to everyone who contributed and made this outreach possible.

LOOK: The LLICON 2024 Trade Fair is currently happening at the CatSU Main Building, featuring native delicacies, abaca products, and other locally made goods by Catanduanganons.

The Philippine Association of Students in Office Administration (PASOA) CatSU Chapter clinches different awards at PASOA 5th Regional Convention held at Saint Anthony University, Iriga City on September 26-28, 2024.

The PASOA-CatSU chapter secured 2nd place in the overall ranking.

This convention significantly enhanced the professional competencies of both students and faculty, fostering collaboration and networking among participants.

This year's convention with the theme, "Emerging Trends: Navigating the Future of Business" aims to bring BSOA students from various HEIs in the Bicol Region to foster collaboration and networking as well as enhance the professional competence of both the students and faculty members.

The convention also includes various competitions such as Steno Writing and Machine Shorthand, Fast Keyboard Typing, Pitch Perfect Challenge, Dance Competition, Battle of the Mind, Commercial Making Contest, PASOA Logo Making Contest, Mobile Legend, Pop Solo Competition, Duet Competition and Mr. and Ms. PASOA.

Together with our students are the faculty members of the BSOA Program, Prof. Alice S. Rojas, Prof. Quennie Ann S. Molod, Mr. Godpray T. Jimenez and Ms. Joana Faye P. Rodriguez. The team will also be joined by the Dean of the College, Prof. Ian V. Aranel as the head of the delegation.

NOW HAPPENING: CBA Extensionists conducting the Financial Literacy Program for the Pananaogan Farmers and Fishermen Association (PFFA) today.

Through its flagship program dubbed as PiTaKa or
“Pinansyal na Talino tungo sa Kaunlaran,” two speakers from the college will discuss about financial management and personal money management.

This activity is headed by the CBA Extension Coordinator, Mrs. Heda Colleen Jane I. Ternida, together with the faculty members of the college.
