🌲 Pre-Camping Activities | Buyo IS Senior Scouts Unit 037 🌲

Our pre-camping activities were filled with learning, teamwork, and the true spirit of Scouting! Before heading into the great outdoors, our Senior Scouts participated in a series of discussions and hands-on sessions that equipped them with essential knowledge and skills for their upcoming camp. The event became not only a preparation for camping but also a celebration of service, leadership, and brotherhood.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to School Commissioner Efren O. Matienzo Jr., WBH, for his unwavering support to our scouting endeavors and for constantly inspiring us to keep the Scout spirit alive in our school.

A huge thanks as well to Scout Leader Cecilia V. Mendoza, ALT, for her invaluable service as a discussant and for sharing helpful pointers on how our Senior Scouts can successfully earn their merit badges. Your dedication and mentorship mean a lot to our young Scouts.

We also deeply appreciate Scout Leaders Jasteen S. Adille, WBH and Ma. Cara Johanna P. Alberto, 2BH with CML for being amazing discussants and for their willingness to serve even though they are troop leaders and not outfit advisors. Your enthusiasm and sense of service truly embody the ideals of Scouting.

Special thanks and commendation go to our Outfit Adviser, Scout Leader Kimberly Grace Crispino, WBH, whose drive, enthusiasm, and steadfast commitment continue to guide the unit toward excellence. Her passion for nurturing responsible and value-driven Scouts shines through every activity, motivating everyone to uphold the Scouting ideals of service, leadership, and community.

Finally, salute to each Scout of our unit for their perseverance, discipline, and good Scouting attitude throughout the activity. May you continue to grow as great Scouts, as honored students, and as responsible citizens of the Republic of the Philippines. 💚💛

Tomorrow marks our Pre-Camporal 2025! We’ll sharpen our skills through lectures, flag making, rope works, and physical fitness test, and seal it with the much-awaited Investiture Ceremony. One step closer to becoming true Scouts of honor and service. 🔥

✨️✨️Unit 037 is officially on the move!!!✨️✨️

Yesterday was a day full of service, learning, and new experiences for the Senior Scouts of Buyo IS.

☀️ Morning: We proudly joined the Scouting Month 2025 Celebration and the 89th Charter Anniversary of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines with a Kick-off Parade, showcasing our Scout spirit. This was followed by a meaningful Riverside Clean-up Drive—a small step towards a cleaner and greener community.

📻 Afternoon: Our Scouts had their first-ever hands-on experience with Ham & Radio communication, during the Ham and Radio Orientation given by ISLA Com with their club president Scout Leader Ives Uly Go, ALT, as the resource speaker. This activity was part of our preparation for the upcoming JOTA-JOTI 2025 and gave our Scouts an exciting opportunity to discover how radio can connect people and communities.

We extend our gratitude to our School Commissioner, Scout Leader Sirf Matienzo, WBH, for his continuous support and encouragement. With his guidance, and under the leadership of their Outfit Advisor, Scout Leader Kimberly Crispino, WBH, Unit 037 Scouts are empowered to live out the Scouting spirit.
