The 8th NCEAC Program Evaluators (PE) Regional Training Workshop was held at Qarshi University, Lahore on February 11, 2026, as part of NCEAC’s continued efforts to strengthen the capacity of program evaluators and enhance the quality of accreditation processes.

The workshop was chaired by Prof. Dr. Shafay Shamail, Chairman NCEAC, and featured presentations by Prof. Dr. Syed Mansoor Sarwar, Vice Chairman NCEAC, and Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ali Maud, Professor, University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Lahore. The sessions provided valuable insights into evaluation practices and quality assurance in computing education.

The NCEAC 8th Program Evaluators (PE) Regional Training Workshop took place in Islamabad on January 7, 2026, bringing together evaluators for knowledge sharing and capacity enhancement.

The session was chaired by Prof. Dr. Shafay Shamail, Chairman NCEAC, and delivered by Prof. Dr. Shoab A. Khan, Chancellor, Sir Syed CASE Institute of IT, Islamabad, who provided valuable insights into accreditation practices and quality assurance.

The Industry and Academia Rendezvous was successfully conducted at Mountain View Tech Park, Quetta in August 2025, bringing together academia and industry stakeholders to foster collaboration and strengthen alignment of computing education with industry needs.

The event featured distinguished resource persons, including Prof. Dr. Shafay Shamail, Chairman NCEAC, and Dr. Faisal Khan Kakar, Chief Executive Officer of the Balochistan Public Private Partnership Authority, Government of Balochistan.

The Industry and Academia Rendezvous was held at HEC Regional Center, Peshawar in April 2025, bringing together academia and industry stakeholders to enhance collaboration and better align computing education with industry needs.

Meaningful discussions were held on aligning computing curricula with industry needs, enhancing employability of graduates, and fostering collaborative initiatives for research and innovation.
