Today’s Chinese lesson is all about one of the most important basic structures in Mandarin: “我是 (wǒ shì)” meaning “I am…”

We learned how to introduce ourselves using different professions:

👩‍🏫 我是老师 (Wǒ shì lǎoshī) → I am a teacher
👩‍🎓 我是学生 (Wǒ shì xuésheng) → I am a student
👩‍⚕️ 我是医生 (Wǒ shì yīshēng) → I am a doctor

This is a very important structure for beginners (HSK1 level) because it helps students talk about identity and professions in Chinese.

Keep practicing by replacing the job and making your own sentences like:
👉 我是 + profession
