Mastering Grammar โ Clear Communication for Teachers & Students
A professional development session was conducted at Malir Junior Campus by Ms. Shafaq Owais, Campus Head โ Malir Campus. The focus of the session was to strengthen grammar and communication skills among pre-primary teachers, with a natural extension of how this directly benefits students in the classroom.
The session highlighted that when teachers use clear, correct, and confident language, it not only improves their own professional communication but also creates a stronger learning environment for students. In early years especially, children learn language by observing their teachers, so the way instructions, conversations, and feedback are given plays a key role in shaping their understanding.
Key takeaways from the session included:
๐ Improving grammar and sentence structure helps teachers deliver instructions more effectively and supports better classroom management.
๐ When teachers communicate clearly, students are more likely to understand concepts quickly and develop stronger language foundations.
๐ฌ Strong communication between teachers and parents builds trust and ensures better support for student learning at home and school.
๐ Students benefit naturally when they are exposed to correct language usage in daily classroom interaction, helping them improve their speaking and writing skills.
๐ Simple, accurate, and consistent language use in early education helps build confidence and reduces confusion for young learners.
This CPD session reflects the commitment of Nasra Public School towards continuous teacher development, while also ensuring that improvements in teaching communication directly enhance student learning outcomes in a practical and meaningful way.
