Congratulations to Nabila Saher and her family
It’s a moment of immense pride for Chipurson that Nabila Saher, daughter of Riaz Saher from Khill, had the honor of reciting a Qaseeda in front of Mawlana Shah Rahim Al Hussaini, Hazir Imam, at the Passu Hunza Darbar on 22nd May.
This is not just a personal achievement for Nabila and her family, but a blessing and a proud occasion for all of us in Chipurson. May this moment bring barakat to her, her family, and the entire community.
Heartfelt Mubarak to Nabila, Riaz Saher, and the whole family.

A day of great joy for our community!
Captain Ejaz Rehman, son of Muhammad Hussain from the remote Chipurson Valley in District Hunza, has been commissioned into the Pakistan Army after successfully completing his military training at the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA), Kakul.
He was among the proud cadets who participated in the prestigious Passing Out Parade of the 153rd PMA Long Course held at Kakul today.
Captain Ejaz began his educational journey in his native village of Zoodkhon, Chipurson, and later completed his intermediate studies at Aga Khan Higher Secondary School, Gilgit. In 2021, he qualified for the Inter-Services Selection Board (ISSB). He went on to earn his graduation degree from the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) before proceeding to PMA Kakul for formal military training.
His accomplishment is a source of immense pride not only for his family but also for the people of Hunza and the entire Gilgit-Baltistan.
Notably, Captain Ejaz Rehman carries forward a legacy of sacrifice and patriotism. He is named after his maternal uncle, shaheed Ejaz Rehman, who embraced martyrdom while defending the borders during the Kargil War in 1999. His commissioning reflects the continuation of a proud family tradition dedicated to serving the nation.
