The Department of Community Dentistry at Ziauddin University celebrated World Oral Health Day on 19 June 2026, promoting the message “A Happy Mouth is a Happy Life.”

The event featured a short film competition and recognized participants, winners, and runners-up for their contributions to oral health awareness.

The College of Human Nutrition and Dietetics successfully organized an interactive workshop titled "Calculating Impact: Sample Size Determination for Nutrition and Health Research."

The workshop was conducted by Ms. Nida Ghouri from Indus Hospital, who shared her expertise on the fundamental concepts and practical applications of sample size determination in nutrition and health research. Through engaging discussions and hands-on learning activities, participants gained valuable insights into designing scientifically robust studies and ensuring the validity and reliability of research findings.

Such initiatives play a vital role in strengthening research competencies and fostering a culture of evidence-based practice in nutrition and health sciences.
