Why should we even give a second of our time to the protection and preservation of dolphins?

So why exactly should you try to save these dolphins that you have probably never even heard of. Well I will tell you why because these aquatic creatures are the most awesome and unique type of dolphin out there!
1. These Aquatic mammals are able to side swim meaning that they are able to swim on their side whilst traveling in their habitat to swallow prey more easily and to move accordingly to the flow of the Indus River.
2. Now admittedly the dolphins are not able to quite see what’s ahead of them because of the tiny size of their eyes but they sure can hear what’s all around them through a bump on their head called a melon which is like an acoustic device which produces sound that bounces off of objects and comes back to the dolphin making it aware of its surroundings.
3. The dolphins are endemic to the Indus River and are a sign of flourishing of fauna in the river in fact these dolphins are so important that if all of them were completely removed from the river the beauty of the river will lessen considerably.
4. These dolphins have uniquely long teeth which allows them to grab prey easily and since they don’t chew their pray they don’t have to have wide and sharped edged teeth which are used by other animals for better cutting and chewing.
