آج 5 فروری کے موقع پر ہم ان نہتے کشمیری بہن بھائیوں، بچوں اور بزرگوں کو یاد کرتے ہیں جنہوں نے آزادی کی جدوجہد میں اپنی جانوں کا نذرانہ پیش کیا۔ وہ مائیں جنہوں نے اپنے معصوم بیٹے کھو دیے، وہ خاندان جن کے سہاگ اجڑ گئے، اور وہ زندگیاں جو خاموشی سے قربان ہو گئیں—یہ سب ایک گہرا انسانی المیہ ہیں۔

آج ہم کشمیری عوام کو خراجِ تحسین پیش کرتے ہیں اور ان کے ساتھ اپنی مکمل یکجہتی اور یکسانیت کا اظہار کرتے ہیں۔
ان کی آواز، ان کا دکھ، اور ان کا بنیادی حق فراموش نہیں کیا جا سکتا۔

Freedom is a fundamental right of every human being.

On this 5th of February, we remember the unarmed Kashmiri men, women, children, and elders who sacrificed their lives in the struggle for freedom. We remember the mothers who lost their innocent sons, the families torn apart, and the countless lives silently shattered—each representing a profound human tragedy.

Today, we pay tribute to the resilience of the Kashmiri people and reaffirm our solidarity with them.
Their voices, their suffering, and their fundamental rights must never be forgotten.

سمیریتن فیلوشپ فاؤنڈیشن لاہور کے علاقے جوہر ٹاؤن میں پیش آنے والے ایک انتہائی دلخراش واقعے کی سخت مذمت کرتی ہے، جہاں 13 سالہ غریب مسیحی گھریلو ملازمہ زرناب نور کو چند برتن ٹوٹنے پر بے رحمی سے مارا، بدترین تشدد کا نشانہ بنایا، اور زبردستی بال کاٹ دیے۔ مہینوں تک والدین سے ملنے نہیں دیا گیا۔

یہ واقعہ پاکستان میں غریب اور کمزور بچوں پر ہونے والے ظلم کی ایک اور افسوسناک مثال ہے۔ آج زرناب اور اس کا خاندان جان کے خوف سے روپوش زندگی گزارنے پر مجبور ہے۔

سمیریتن فیلوشپ فاؤنڈیشن محترمہ وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب، مریم نواز صاحبہ سے اپیل کرتی ہے اس واقعے کا فوری نوٹس لے کر انصاف کے تقاضے پورے کیے جائیں:

زرناب نور اور اس کے خاندان کو مکمل تحفظ فراہم کیا جائے

ظالم ملزمان کو فوری گرفتار کر کے سزا دی جائے۔ اس معصوم بچی کو فوری انصاف دیا جائے

ہم خاموش نہیں رہیں گے۔

Samaritan’s Fellowship Foundation strongly condemns the brutal torture of Zarnab Noor, a 13-year-old poor Christian girl from Johar Town, Lahore, who was working as a domestic worker due to extreme poverty for only Rs. 15,000 per month

For the minor “crime” of breaking a few dishes, she was severely beaten, subjected to inhuman violence, and her hair was forcibly shaved. She was kept away from her parents for months, and today Zarnab and her family are living in hiding due to serious threats to their lives

This is not just one incident — it is a painful reflection of how poor and vulnerable children, especially from minority communities, are treated in Pakistan

Samaritan’s Fellowship Foundation demands:

Immediate arrest and punishment of the perpetrators

Full legal protection for Zarnab Noor and her family

Justice for this innocent child without delay

We urge the Honorable Chief Minister of Punjab, Ms. Maryam Nawaz, to take immediate notice of this incident and ensure that the truth is brought to light and justice is delivered.
