Conquering new grounds!
A team of students from the Syed Babar Ali School of Science and Engineering made history by becoming the first ever Pakistani team to qualify for the UAV Challenge Medical Express 2018 in Australia. The SBASSE students developed a fully autonomous UAV platform for blood sample retrieval from inaccessible remote areas. The Unmanned Airborne Vehicle could prove to be groundbreaking for healthcare in remote areas.
The team has progressed with 13 other teams to the next round.
