To formally begin our new tenure, the Forman Biology Society visited the Chughtai Lab Head Office for a guided tour of their diagnostic facilities. Lab experts gave a walkthrough of each department, where students examined testing procedures, explored advanced lab operations, and gained valuable insights from professionals.
The visit also featured an engaging Q&A session with Dr. A.S. Chughtai, where students gained meaningful knowledge about opportunities and innovations in the healthcare sector.
This activity marks the beginning of a successful journey where we aim to do the best with the available resources. Here’s to many more successful initiatives ✨

The first edition of Biohackers organised by the Forman Biology Society was a success!

Agha khan University, in collaboration with FBS, Mercy Health Center, Forman Photography Society and Forman Pharmaceutical Society, organised a skin care awareness session where we learned valuable tips and techniques to maintain healthy and glowing skin. The importance of a proper skincare routine and how to choose the right products for your skin type was explained to us by Dr.Farzana Faiz a consultant dermatologist. Our expert speaker provided
us with the do's and don'ts of skincare, addressing common concerns such as acne, ageing, and sun damage. This was followed by a medical camp by Dr. Kinza Manan and her team members Mr. Nayyer Zahoor Abbasi and Mr. Naqqash Haider.

Here are some highlights from the "Alzheimer's: Management and Future Prospects"
The seminar was a plethora of useful information about the Alzheimer's disease, an overview of managing and delaying the symptoms, and a brief glimpse into research that could potentially cure the disease. With Dr Adnan Arshad's excellent explanation and witty humour, the seminar was equally insightful and enjoyable for all attendees!

FBS has invited Dr. Adnan Arshad to shed some much-needed light on Alzheimer's and we would love your participation!
