IME Department Proudly Announces
The project "Smart Carbon Capture: An AI-Driven Approach to Mitigate Harmful Exhaust Emissions", supervised by "Dr. Kiran Mughal", secured "2nd Position" at the "PACE Chemical Expo 2026", organized by the Pakistan Chemical Manufacturers Association.
The project was initially selected through a competitive abstract submission process. On Day 1, following evaluation among the selected entries, it was shortlisted among the Top 10 projects from universities across Pakistan. On the final day, the project was presented by "Anusha Baig" and secured "2nd Position" , winning a cash prize of PKR 30,000.

This session will provide a practical roadmap for students aiming to pursue higher education abroad. It covers key scholarship programs such as Fulbright, along with strategies for profile building, documentation, and meeting application timelines and formalities .Students will gain insights into selecting suitable countries and programs, crafting strong SOPs and research proposals, and avoiding common mistakes in the application process. The goal is to equip participants with the knowledge and tools needed to confidently access global education opportunities and reduce financial barriers.

The Department of Industrial & Manufacturing Engineering, in collaboration with Career Pakistan (Talk World), successfully organized a Speaker Series session on “Employability and the Future of Work.”
The session highlighted key employment trends, workforce transformation, and emerging career opportunities, aiming to prepare students for the evolving job market.
We were honored to host Mr. Awais Ejaz, Chief Technology Officer at UBL, as the keynote speaker. He highlighted the growing importance of technology, innovation, Artificial Intelligence, and cloud etc computing in shaping future careers. His discussion emphasized how these advancements are redefining skill requirements and opening new employment possibilities globally.
An engaging and thought-provoking session that inspired students to align their skills with the demands of the future workplace.
