Humaira Munir, the session provided participants with essential technical guidance, project objectives, and operational protocols for the successful implementation of the study on “Stormwater Stagnation and Design Framework.”

The School of Architecture & Planning, UMT, is pleased to share that Dr. Fariha Tariq, Dean, School of Architecture & Planning, has been invited by The Urban Unit, Government of Punjab, to participate in the Lahore Master Plan Review Consultation and Feedback Meeting. Dr. Nadeem Rao and Muhammad Talha from CRP Department also participated. The consultation aims to gather expert input from academia, planning professionals, government departments, and key stakeholders to review and strengthen the future development framework of Lahore.

“Discovering Architecture Within Everyday Machines – The Hidden Form” explores the unseen architectural qualities embedded within ordinary electronic devices and machines. Through detailed investigations, exploded views, and analytical studies, students reveal how everyday objects contain systems, structures, forms, and spatial logic that can inspire architectural thinking and design exploration.
This exhibition challenges us to look beyond the surface of familiar objects and discover the hidden relationships between technology, function, and architecture.

Final Year CRP students from the UMT, Lahore, visited LDA Avenue-1 as part of the Real Estate Management course to gain practical insights into housing development, land management, planning processes, and real estate operations.
We sincerely thank Dr. Umar Sohaib, Director Housing, LDA Avenue-1, and Mr. Sharoze Javed, Deputy Director, LDA City, for their valuable time and informative briefing. Their insightful discussion on the challenges faced in housing development and the practical solutions adopted by LDA provided students with a deeper understanding of sustainable and future-ready housing schemes.
The visit served as a valuable learning experience, bridging academic knowledge with real-world planning and development practices.
