It warms our hearts to announce that the Social Responsibility Program (SRP) internship has been successfully completed.
Last month, a team of kind-spirited and talented individuals from Lahore, Karachi, and Islamabad volunteered to visit underprivileged areas and teach students. As a part of SRP’s mission in 2022, this program aimed to introduce education in underdeveloped areas in an attempt to bridge gaps in academics and living standards between the rich and poor. It is an honor to announce that our team was able to visit several schools for underprivileged children in all major cities. It has indeed been an essential learning for both students with bright futures ahead of them, as well as our team who has learned the value of everything they stand for.

LUMUN is proud to announce it's collaboration with Connecthear, an organisation aimed at bridging the gap between differently abled communities through the provision of interpretation services.
This year, we are pleased to introduce an SRP exclusive committee with the help of this partnership. The committee will consist of students from various schools and aims to bring differently abled students the same opportunities as their counterpart.
We are extremely excited to meet the delegates and learn about their thoughts on the response to the ongoing pandemic, identify main issues that came forward and discuss possible solutions!

The Social Responsibility Program at LUMUN distributed LUMUN hoodies to the staff at LUMS, specifically the drivers and gardeners. The reason our team chose to take this initiative is because we feel that it is our responsibility to cater to the people around us who have been working hard to make our university experience a memorable one. Providing them with these hoodies, thus, became not only a means of equipping them against the winter, but also as a sign of gratitude for their hard work.

Tomorrow’s panel talk is all about understanding ourselves, identifying things that bother us, and more importantly, touching upon an aspect of our lives that we’re reluctant to admit can be a source of trauma, Family. Our excellent Panelist Mr. Osama Ahmed cannot wait to meet you and answer any or all questions you might have.
