Shahbaz Sharif's rule back in Punjab without him
All key positions in the new set-up have been given to Shahbaz Sharif's blue-eyed officers, who were responsible for development and governance during the younger Sharif's ten-year rule in Punjab.
Most of these officers were responsible for key projects, which are identified by PML-N and Shahbaz Sharif like Orange Train, Multan Metro, underpasses and mega projects of Lahore,Nandipur power project and others. More than a dozen of officers, now brought back to deliver for Usman Buzdar government, were directly working with Shahbaz Sharif in the CM Secretariat.

FBR, banks agree to share info on suspected undocumented transactions
Those details include a list of persons making cash withdrawal of Rs50,000/day or over Rs1 million/ month; deposits of Rs10 million/ month; credit card payment of Rs250,000/ month; and details of persons receiving profit on debt above Rs500,000/ year.

The model numbers SM-A115X, SM-A315X, and SM-A415X refer to Samsung Galaxy A11, A31, and A41 respectively. It is expected that the base model of the A-series launched in 2020 will feature 64 GB of expandable storage while the above-mentioned smartphones will feature 128 GB built-in storage.
Samsung is reportedly also working on Galaxy A51, A71, and A81. The first two will most probably feature a punch-hole camera while the Galaxy A81 is expected to be a rebranded stylus-toting Galaxy Note 10 lite.

And now there is only one as news reports suggest.
Food Panda, a division of the German-owned company Rocket Internet, has acquire Eat Oye, the local Pakistani food ordering service, reported Business Recorder.

ARM Cortex A72 to Bring True 4K Graphics and Recording Capabilities to Smartphones:
We are seeing some phones with 4K (Ultra HD) recording capabilities in the market this year, thanks to Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 800 chipsets. There are now some 20 phones to date that let you shoot and playback 4k videos in an acceptable 30 frames per second mode.
That was just the start of 4K tech on phones. And now ARM has something better coming up in 2016. Something that promises to make your phone as capable as an Xbox One or PS4, at least in terms of graphics horsepower.

Windows RT is Now Officially Dead:
Probably the least successful Microsoft product of the last few years is finally gone. Windows RT was announced as an edition of Windows 8 designed to run on ARM-based tablets. However, with the arrival of Windows 10 for phones and small tablets, the end has inevitably arrived.
Microsoft has now confirmed that the last RT-running tablet, the Nokia Lumia 2520 has now ceased production. The Surface 2, remember, is already gone and with Lenovo, Samsung, Dell and others having already backed out means the chapter is now closed for good.

Gov’t to Introduce Smart Meters; Electricity Prepaid Cards to be Used for Billing:
Yesterday, the government of Pakistan decided to introduce smart meters.
The move is designed to cut down on theft of electricity. A more interesting byproduct is going to be the ability to top-up your electricity bill. Prepaid cards will be available and users will load them as needed. Once the balance runs out, so does the electricity.
The secretary for water and electricity, Younas Dagha, said that smart meter installation would begin next month. Overall, the project will take two to three years.

HEC to Distribute 100,000 EVO Devices to Eligible Students:
An agreement signing ceremony between Higher Education Commission (HEC) and Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL), for provisioning of wireless internet services (EVO) to talented students under Prime Minister’s Laptop Scheme, was held at HEC Secretariat on Friday.
As per agreement, students will be offered free EVO devices with specially tailored packages, or they will be able to avail usual EVO packages with 20 percent discount.
