Crescent Model Higher Secondary School

As part of our Middle Section Life Skills Lab, we arranged a 2-day Smart Cooking Skills session for our students.

Students learned to prepare healthy recipes including various types of sandwiches, yogurt parfaits, deviled eggs, and fruit smoothies. Under the teacher's supervision, they made each recipe themselves and enjoyed the hands-on experience.

All safety and cleanliness measures were followed throughout. The two days proved to be both enjoyable and enriching. Students took home not just tasty food, but also confidence in making smart, healthy choices in the kitchen.

We are delighted to celebrate the achievement of **Ayesha Khurram**, an **MYP-II student of Square Crescent Model School**, who participated in **Entrepreneurial Expo 3.0** under the theme **“Innovate to Impact.”**

The Expo was organized by **Khadija-tul-Kubra Business Incubation Center (K-BIC), Lahore College for Women University (LCWU)** and featured participation from leading institutions including **LCWU, University of Central Punjab (UCP), Kinnaird College for Women, Government Graduate College Samanabad, and Superior University**.

The event was graced by **Ms. Nadia Jahangir Seth, Chief Executive Officer, SMEDA, Pakistan**, as the **Chief Guest**. **Mr. Javed Afzal, Provincial Head Punjab, SMEDA**, and **Ms. Falahat Imran, President, Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry (WCCI)** attended as **Guests of Honor**.

Ayesha, along with her co-founder **Samawia Athar**, an O Levels student from **LACAS**, presented their startup idea **“SheCare”** in the **Idea Pitching Competition** under the domain of **Entrepreneurship & Social Enterprise**.

🏆 **SheCare secured 3rd Position in the Idea Competition** and received a prize of **PKR 10,000**.

**SheCare** is a thoughtful startup idea focused on girls’ health, confidence, and daily hygiene. It is a compact hygiene kit designed for school and college-going girls, helping them keep essential hygiene items organized and easily accessible in their bags — just like a stationery box is an essential part of student life.

The idea promotes **Confidence, Care, and Hygiene** and supports **SDG 3: Good Health & Well-Being** by encouraging better hygiene habits among young girls.

We are proud of **Ayesha Khurram** for representing student innovation, confidence, and entrepreneurial spirit at such a meaningful platform.

Father’s Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and heartfelt appreciation at the Middle Section of Crescent Model Higher Secondary School Boys Campus.

Our students expressed their gratitude and admiration by presenting thoughtful tokens of appreciation to their teachers, acknowledging the invaluable role they play as mentors in their lives. A special tribute was also presented to Sir Altaf Muhammad Saleem, Managing Trustee, Crescent School, in recognition of his visionary leadership, unwavering dedication, and remarkable contributions to education and society. Through sketches, handmade cards, recycled-material crafts, and heartfelt presentations, students conveyed their respect and appreciation for his commitment to nurturing future generations.

The celebration served as a meaningful reminder of the profound impact that fathers, teachers, and leaders have in shaping young minds and inspiring them to reach their full potential.

The students of the O Level Section at Crescent Girls Cambridge Section celebrated Father's Day with love, gratitude, and appreciation. They shared heartfelt messages and designed creative digital cards to acknowledge the dedication, support, and countless efforts of their fathers.
To make the day even more memorable, students participated in fun and engaging games alongside their fathers, creating joyful moments and strengthening the special bond they share.
