Sometimes, you have to fall.

Not to fail,

but to see who stays,

what matters,

and how much of yourself
you’ve been carrying all along.

Some lessons only make sense
when you’re down.

And some strength
is only found there,
too.

Some people are surviving battles
you’ll never hear about.

The unpaid bills.

The pressure to provide.

The fear of failing.

The exhaustion they hide
behind a simple “I’m okay.”

You may never know
what someone is carrying
when they walk into a room.

So be kind.

Not because everyone deserves it.

But because everyone
is fighting something
you cannot see.

Because I know
how hard you’ve been trying.

I know about the battles
that never made it
into conversations.

The days you wanted to quit.

The mornings you got up anyway.

The strength it took
just to keep going.

So if no one sees it today,
let this be your reminder:

you’ve come a long way.
And that is something
to be proud of.

I don’t want to be resilient.

I don’t want another lesson.

I don’t want another battle
that teaches me
how much I can endure.

I just want a season
where life stops testing me
and finally lets me rest.
