The Public Defense of Mr. Hamad khan, Department of Statistics, was held on Thursday, April 23, 2026, in the Conference Room, Garden Campus, Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan.
Mr. Hamad khan successfully defended his M.phil thesis entitled “FORECASTING CRUDE OIL PRICES: A COMPARATIVE STUDY OF ENSEMBLE AND TIME-SERIES MODELS ” under the supervision of Dr. Muhammad Aamir. External Examiners, Dr.Sohail Akhtar
The examiners highly appreciated the quality of the research, the significance of the topic, and the depth of analysis, and unanimously declared the dissertation successful. عبدالولی خان یونیورسٹی مردان کے اکیڈمک بلاک میں 400 کلوواٹ سولر پاور سسٹم شامل

عبدالولی خان یونیورسٹی مردان کے اکیڈمک بلاک میں 400 کلوواٹ سولر پاور سسٹم کو باضابطہ طور پر بجلی کے نظام میں شامل کر دیا گیا ہے۔ یہ بات وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر جمیل احمد نے ایک اعلیٰ سطحی اجلاس کی صدارت کرتے ہوئے کہی۔ اجلاس میں یونیورسٹی کے تمام شعبہ جات کے سربراہان نے شرکت کی۔
وائس چانسلر نے کہا کہ 400 کلوواٹ سولر انرجی سسٹم کی شمولیت سے یونیورسٹی پر توانائی کا بوجھ کم ہو گا، جبکہ اس منصوبے کا دائرہ کار مزید اکیڈمک بلاکس تک بڑھایا جائے گا۔ انہوں نے بتایا کہ اس حوالے سے ایک اور جامع منصوبہ حکومت کو جمع کرایا جا چکا ہے، جس کے تحت یونیورسٹی کے تمام ڈیپارٹمنٹس بالخصوص ریسرچ لیبارٹریز اور کلاس رومز میں سنٹرلائزڈ ایئر کنڈیشننگ سسٹم نصب کیا جائے گا۔
اس موقع پر وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر جمیل احمد نے یونیورسٹی کے تمام ملازمین کو مبارکباد دیتے ہوئے کہا کہ وزیر اعلیٰ خیبرپختونخوا نے یونیورسٹی ملازمین کے دیرینہ مطالبے پر یونیورسٹی اسٹیچوٹس کی منظوری دے دی ہے۔
آخر میں وائس چانسلر نے تمام شعبہ جات کے سربراہان کو ہدایت کی کہ اسپرنگ سمسٹر 2026 کے آغاز سے طلبہ کو تعلیمی و تدریسی سہولیات کی فراہمی کو ہر صورت یقینی بنایا جائے۔
400 KW Solar Power System Added to Academic Block of Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan

A 400 KW solar power system has been officially added to the electricity system in the academic block of Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan. This was stated by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Jamil Ahmed while presiding over a high-level meeting. The meeting was attended by heads of all departments of the university.
The Vice Chancellor said that the inclusion of the 400 KW solar energy system will reduce the energy burden on the university, while the scope of this project will be extended to more academic blocks. He said that another comprehensive plan has been submitted to the government in this regard, under which centralized air conditioning systems will be installed in all departments of the university, especially research laboratories and classrooms.
On this occasion, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Jamil Ahmed congratulated all the employees of the university and said that the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has approved the university statutes on the long-standing demand of the university employees.
Finally, the Vice Chancellor directed the heads of all departments to ensure the provision of educational and teaching facilities to students from the beginning of the spring semester 2026.

کانووکیشن کے انتظامات کے سلسلے میں وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر جمیل احمد کی زیرِ صدارت ایک اجلاس منعقد ہوا، جس میں تمام انتظامی امور کا تفصیلی جائزہ لیا گیا۔
اجلاس میں رجسٹرار حسن خان، ڈائریکٹر فنانس ڈاکٹر فیضان ملک، ڈائریکٹر ایڈمن فرہاد صافی، پرووسٹ عبدالصمد، کنٹرولر امتحانات عادل خان اور دیگر متعلقہ افسران نے شرکت کی۔
اس موقع پر وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر جمیل احمد نے کہا کہ کانووکیشن یونیورسٹی کے لیے ایک اہم اور باوقار تقریب ہے، جس کے انعقاد کو کامیاب بنانے کے لیے تمام انتظامات بروقت اور بہترین انداز میں مکمل کیے جائیں۔ انہوں نے متعلقہ شعبوں کو ہدایت کی کہ مہمانوں، طلبہ اور والدین کے لیے سہولیات کو یقینی بنایا جائے۔
