**The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:** *
"I hope from Allah that fasting on the Day of Ashura will expiate the sins of the previous year."

02. be generous towards your family
**The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:** *
"Whoever spends generously on his family on the Day of Ashura (10th Muharram), Allah will provide him with abundance throughout the rest of the year."
