The attack on Iran by Israel and the United States is not only a violation of international law and moral principles, but also a grave violation of the dignity of people across the world, including those in Iran, by imperial forces. From the Iranian leadership to schoolgirls, everyone is facing the bombardment of American imperialism.

At this moment, standing against imperialism and in solidarity with Iran is not only our moral and political responsibility, but also essential for safeguarding our own future, which remains under the threat of imperial power. Failing to express this solidarity out of fear of the Pakistani government would itself be a serious violation of our own dignity.

Therefore, the Aurat March and the Progressive Students Collective call upon you to gather tomorrow (Tuesday) at 2 PM in front of the US Consulate Lahore.

Progressive Students Collective Multan, with comrades and students, calls for the immediate restoration of Student Unions in all universities of Multan.
The ban on unions is an attack on democratic rights and an attempt to silence student voices. We reject the corporatization and depoliticization of our campuses. Student unions are our right it is our platform to resist exploitation, fee hikes, harassment, and authoritarian control.
We have mobilized across the city. Now we unite.

For the past 42 years, the ruling classes of Pakistan have systematically denied the students their fundamental democratic right of unionization. Students being the youth, being the majority of our country remain unrepresented alienating them from the broader political spectrum of Pakistan. Under the ongoing neoliberal policies, our educational institutions face aggressive privatization, skyrocketing fees, and exclusionary practices that systematically deny access to quality education for the majority. Campuses remain heavily securitized, political expression is suppressed, and students confront harassment, mental health crises (including tragic student suicides), lack of representation in decision-making, and shrinking democratic spaces.

Amidst all these crises, Progressive Students' Collective announces Student Solidarity March 2026, a powerful demonstration of resistance and collective struggle for an accessible education system in Pakistan.

ایسے وقت میں ، جب تعلیم کا معیار مسلسل گراوٹ کا شکار ہو ، فیسوں میں ہوش ربا اضافے کی وجہ سے تعلیم حاصل کرنے کا حق مشکل سے مشکل ترین کردیا گیا ہو ، جنسی ہراسانی اور بلیک میلنگ کی وجہ سے طلبہ خودکشیاں کرنے پر مجبور ہوں اور کم از کم اڈھائ کروڑ بچے سکولوں سے باہر ہونے کے باوجود سکولوں اور کالجوں کی نجکاری کی جارہی ہو ، طلبہ کا سڑکوں پر نکل کر اپنے بنیادی حقوق چھننا ناگزیر ہوچکا ہے۔

پروگریسیو سٹوڈنٹس کولیکٹیو حیدرآباد کے زیرِ اہتمام 12 فروری 2026 کو طلبہ یکجہتی مارچ کیا جائے گا۔ یہ مارچ 12 فروری دن 2 بجے سندھ یونیورسٹی اولڈ کیمپس تا پریس کلب حیدرآباد کیا جائے گا۔
