Prof. Dr. Khwaja Alqama, former Vice Chancellor of BZU Multan and former Pakistan Ambassador to Yemen, visited NFC Institute of Engineering and Technology (NFC-IET) Multan today. During his visit, he held a meeting with the Vice Chancellor, Prof Dr. Shabbar Atiq, and interacted with the Heads of Departments and Directors of the institute.
Dr. Alqama emphasized the importance of delivering quality education and promoting impactful research. He shared his valuable experiences and insights with the participants, encouraging them to continue striving for academic excellence.

The Computer Science Department proudly collaborated with OZI Technology to host a successful Job Fair, where 200+ students participated in tests and interviews, gaining valuable exposure to professional recruitment processes and career opportunities.
On this occasion, HOD Dr. Naeem Aslam honored distinguished guests with shields, while Lecturer Nasir Umar presented certificates to participants in recognition of their efforts and achievements.

Electrical Engineering Department Hosts Final Year Project Exhibition at NFC IET Multan
The Electrical Engineering Department of NFC IET, Multan, successfully organized its Final Year Project (FYP) Exhibition, providing a platform for graduating students to showcase their innovative engineering solutions and research accomplishments.
The event was graced by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Shabbar Atiq, as the Chief Guest. During his visit to the exhibition, he interacted with students, appreciated their technical expertise, and commended the department for fostering innovation, research, and problem-solving skills among future engineers.
A total of 20 Final Year Projects were exhibited, demonstrating the creativity, technical competence, and research capabilities of the students. The Electrical Engineering Department remains dedicated to promoting research, innovation, and practical learning experiences that prepare students to contribute effectively to national development and technological advancement.

Today marks a significant milestone with the inauguration of the newly converted Khadija Hall, a modern girls' hostel designed to provide a safe, comfortable, and well-equipped living environment for students.
The hall was formally inaugurated by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shabbar Atiq, who also toured the facility and appreciated the arrangements made for the residents. Accompanying him during the visit were the Principal Officers, Chairman Hall Council, and the Wardens of the Boys' and Girls' Hostels.
Khadija Hall features 80 spacious rooms with an accommodation capacity of more than 220 female students. The hostel is equipped with essential amenities, including a mess facility, high-speed internet access, a kitchen, and other modern conveniences, ensuring a conducive atmosphere for both academic and personal growth.
NFC Institute of Engineering and Technology already operates Fatima Hall, which has the capacity to accommodate 100 female students. With the addition of Khadija Hall, the Institute can now provide residential facilities for more than 320 girls, reflecting its strong commitment to expanding quality accommodation and supporting the educational journey of women.

The Department of Architecture Design organized a one-day workshop on Architectural Photographyas integral part of the course titled “Architectural Photography”.
Ar. Usman Saqib Zuberi was invited as a resource person. He is an architectural photographer and educator with ten years of experience, currently serving as Assistant Professor at Razia Hassan School of Architecture (RHSA) at Beaconhouse National University (BNU), Lahore. He explores academic insight with visual storytelling to document and interpret architecture meaningfully.

A meeting of the Heads of Departments and Principal Officers was held today under the chairmanship of the Vice Chancellor.
The meeting commenced with Fateha Khawani for the departed soul of the father of Engr. Rasool Ahmad, Controller of Examinations. The participants offered prayers for the deceased and expressed their condolences.
The house discussed the preparations and planning for the Admission Session 2026. Various measures to facilitate the admission process were reviewed.
The arrangements and preparations for the forthcoming examinations were also discussed in detail. The concerned departments were advised to ensure timely completion of all necessary requirements and maintain strict compliance with the prescribed examination schedule and procedures.

The Department of Business Administration at NFC Institute of Engineering and Technology (NFC-IET), Multan, proudly participated in the prestigious “BRANDSCAPE” event hosted by Air University Multan.
Guided by Dr. Shoaib Asim students represented the institute with immense zeal and professionalism. The energetic students showcased innovative business ideas and earned appreciation from attendees and industry judges.
