NOC issued by HEC to the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, University of Swat for launching Ph.D in Mathematics

After assumption of charge of the office of the Vice Chancellor by Prof. Dr. Hassan Sher, it is the 9th department which received NOC for launching M.Phil and Ph.D programs. Before receiving NOC by the Department of Mathematics and Statistics the Department of Islamic and Arabic Studies, Department of Economics, Zoology, Forestry, Physics, Chemistry, Environmental Sciences and Management Sciences have already received NOC for either M.Phil, Ph.D or both during the tenure of the sitting Vice Chancellor. On this occasion Prof. Dr. Hassan Sher, Vice Chancellor University of Swat congratulated the faculty of the Department of Islamic and Arabic Studies and informed that admissions will be offered in the next month in all the departments having NOCs for launching M.Phil and Ph.D programs. The departments, already offering M.Phil/Ph.D will also announce new admissions in January 2023.

The Vice Chancellor further added that University of Swat is a real blessing of Allah for the students of the area, especially in the field of Higher degrees of M.Phil and Ph.D. The students of Swat and adjoining areas now have the facilities of higher education at their doorstep. He further added that we are developing research culture through these higher degrees and our scholars will soon produce quality results in the field of research.
