We’re excited to celebrate Suraj Tavhare (8), who competed in the DRD Summer Grand Prix 2026 chess tournament hosted by the Puerto Rico Chess Federation in Fajardo.

Suraj delivered an outstanding performance in the Kindergarten to 3rd Grade division, earning a perfect 5/5 score, winning every round, and finishing as 1st place champion 🥇

A true representation of focus, strategy, and excellence—congratulations on this incredible achievement! ♟️👏

🇵🇷💬 Spanish comes to life when students use it in real-world experiences.

This summer, our Isla & Lengua students have explored Old San Juan, ridden the Tren Urbano, visited the Conservatorio de Música de Puerto Rico, planted and cared for plants, learned from community experts, created art with local artisans, and followed recipes to make everything from pizza to piña coladas, all while practicing Spanish along the way.

Through hands-on activities, workshops, field trips, and cultural experiences, they're building confidence and communication skills naturally, one experience at a time.

Did you know that more than 300 species of plants, animals, and fungi have already been identified in the Pterocarpus Forest — right here in Palmas del Mar?
Join us for a special bilingual educational experience with Dr. Ivelisse Irizarry, the scientist leading the Forest’s biodiversity catalog on iNaturalist.
Together, we will explore how this extraordinary ecosystem functions as a living laboratory for science, conservation, and discovery — and how visitors themselves can help document the Forest through citizen science.

Congratulations to our 8th Grade and Class of 2026 graduates! 🎓

We celebrated two important milestones. Our 8th graders are taking the exciting next step into high school, ready for new opportunities, challenges, and discoveries. Our seniors are closing a chapter at TPA and beginning a new journey as they pursue their dreams, continue their education, and step into adult life.

We are proud of who they have become and look forward to all they will accomplish in the years ahead.
