LX Youth Theatre product presents our Easter Performing Arts School - “The Time Tangle!”
When: 30/03 - 03/04
Time: 10h00 - 16h00
Where: St Julian’s School
Ages: 6-18 (Split into age groups, open to students from any school.)
Looking for something fun and creative for your child to do during the holidays? Off screen, making real life international and local connections and new friendships. Working together to create an original show, using drama, creative writing, lighting, sound, music and choreography. Each student will have a chance to contribute and shine. Directed by international school Drama Teachers

Rehearsals underway for our new version of “Charlie!”

What a year it’s been for LX Youth Theatre! Thank you to all our students and families who have supported our events and offered encouragement and such positive feedback. Highlights include our Taster Day, successful Easter and Summer School Drama Club, our Saturday Theatre School, LAMDA sessions, 1:1 acting coaching, collaborations with ISTA & St Julian’s, and iGCSE, A Level & IB Tutoring. Oh and let’s not forget our productions of “Matilde: Rewrite the Rules,” and “Ella in Lisbon.”
We are looking forward to new projects and challenges in 2026. We are starting the year with auditions for our adaptation of “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,” set right here in Portugal, to be performed in May. Watch this space for more updates or get in touch to get involved
We truly believe encouraging young people to develop their confidence on stage, whilst making new friends and having fun, will help them develop important skills for life.

There is nothing like experiencing live theatre. The LX Youth Theatre family try to see as many productions as possible, and these last few days have been a real treat. From a Christmas Panto with Philippa’s brother as the Technical Manager, to front row seats at “Six,” (Rafi’s current favourite musical,) to the pure spectacle of “Starlight Express,” with Rexie and Louiana. A wonderful feast of performance and production.
