Our KS2 pupils were delighted to welcome a very special guest to assembly today – Vladimir from Year 10, who treated us to an impressive drum performance. His talent, confidence and willingness to share his passion with our younger learners perfectly reflect the supportive, family atmosphere of our school.

Our Nursery children have been exploring different modes of transport and thinking about all the exciting ways we can travel around the world. From cars, bikes, and aeroplanes to imaginative ideas such as time machines and flying saucers, their creativity knows no bounds!

Through discussion, art, and hands-on activities, the children are developing their understanding of the world while building language, communication, and critical thinking skills.

Our International Food Fair was far more than a celebration of food and traditions from around the world. It was a celebration of community, friendship, kindness and belonging.

Families, students, staff and friends came together to share traditions, cultures, stories and laughter, creating the warm atmosphere that makes King’s Oak feel like an extended family.

From colourful stalls and delicious homemade dishes to the smiles, conversations and connections formed throughout the afternoon, every moment reflected the values at the heart of our school.

At King’s Oak, education is about more than academic success. It is about building a community where every child is known, valued and encouraged to grow with confidence, curiosity and compassion.
