Today were the annual dan exams in Pijnacker, the Netherlands of the World Nunchaku Association - WNA where I was one of the examinators.

It was a succesful day with great results, all three examinees passed!

I passed the exam for the red belt Thailand nunchaku! Besides WNA Nunchaku-do I am also very much open to learning other styles. Currently I am focusing on a special style of nunchaku mainly trained in Thailand. For the red belt there was a focus on techniques with double nunchakus where each hand makes different movements, making this a real struggle for the brain. Also some techniques were assessed where you use the nunchaku as a short stick. Lastly multiple aerial combinations were assessed. Next up is the black belt! This would make me the first Dutch person to reach this level!
