Creating pathways to success for Rwandan women through coding education, entrepreneurship support & mentorship programs🚀

Igire Rwanda Organisation [IRO] is a Non-Governmental organisation that was established in 2016. The major foundation of the organisation was to reach out to youth with the provision of opportunities for growth to make sure that they are self-reliant and capable of helping all youth in the country to develop. Igire Rwanda Organization helps youth to use skills, talents and opportunities they have to create solutions to the challenge facing our community

We have experienced start-ups that stood out for their innovation, feasibility, strong value propositions, and their potential for impact, reflecting and shaping the future.

In a ceremony attended by the Minister of Ministry of Youth and Arts | Rwanda, distinguished guests, and all attendees, we celebrated and recognized our five winning projects, together with other DSE consortium projects.

We are excited to see and contribute to how these solutions continue to grow, evolve, and create meaningful change in our communities.

Special thanks to DOT Rwanda and Mastercard Foundation for creating this platform and making the DSE Hackathon possible.

We also appreciate our consortium partners, Intango Technical Secondary School (Intango TSS), kLab Rwanda, and SOLVIT AFRICA, for their continued commitment to empowering young innovators together.

The girls have chosen their own paths...

After weeks of learning, our participants are into their next phase, Frontend or Backend development.

Some are diving into the creative side of tech “Frontend”, building what users see and interact with. Others are exploring the logic behind the scenes “Backend”. Both systems that make websites and applications work.

Different paths. Same bold journey.
