🏔️This is a massive sinkhole known as a tiankeng or "heavenly pit," located in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of China.

🔶The formation is 192 meters (630 feet) deep, with a length of 306 meters (1,004 feet) and a width of 150 meters (492 feet).

🔶Inside the pit is a lush, primitive forest with trees reaching up to 40 meters (130 feet) tall.

🔶The ecosystem's isolation suggests it may contain species of plants and animals unknown to science.
