Al Alia International Indian School conducted a heartfelt Father’s Day Assembly today, presented by the enthusiastic boys of Class XI A. The programme highlighted the love, guidance and strength that fathers bring into their children’s lives. Our respected Principal, Mrs. Kavitha Latha Kadireshan, delivered an inspiring address on the values and discipline fathers instill, while Academic Supervisor, Mr. Sreekanth Radhakrishnan appreciated the students’ efforts and emphasized the importance of fatherhood as a pillar of support. Class Teacher Mr. Allen Das also shared thoughtful reflections, adding depth to the occasion.

The students presented a heartfelt programme filled with gratitude, reflections and appreciation, making the morning truly memorable.

Al Alia International Indian School, Riyadh, observed the International Day of Yoga 2026 with a comprehensive, two-day celebration on June 16 and 17, 2026, successfully engaging students from Grades I through VIII across the Girls and Primary sections to promote holistic wellness, physical fitness and mental clarity. The event commenced on June 16 in the Girls Section (Grades VI–VIII) with a special assembly featuring a synchronized yoga dance choreographed under the guidance of Mrs. Dhanya Sarath, which was further enriched by inspiring addresses from Principal Mrs. Kavitha Latha Kadhiresan and Mrs. Shalini Nainan on the necessity of a balanced lifestyle. The celebrations concluded on June 17 with a vibrant primary assembly organized by Class II F under the mentorship of Mrs. Ranjini Jacob for Grades I and II, showcasing an informative video presentation detailing the global significance of the day and successfully embedding the values of lifelong health and emotional equilibrium across all participating educational tiers.

Yoga is a simple path to wellness. "

With the aim of spreading awareness about the benefits of yoga, a special assembly was organized on 17th June 2026 at AAIISR for the students of
Grades I & II. The assembly was conducted by the students of Grade II F under the supervision of their Class Teacher, Ms. Yasmin Banu.

The event highlighted the importance of yoga and its positive impact on physical and mental well-being. The programme featured a graceful yoga dance performance by the boys of Grade II F, who showcased yoga postures through rhythmic movements. An informative video on International Yoga Day was also screened, helping students understand the benefits of practicing yoga regularly. Adding a practical dimension to the celebration, Mrs. Ayisha Abdul demonstrated a few simple yoga poses, encouraging students to adopt healthy habits in their daily lives.

In order to make the assembly even more joyful, certificates for the classroom evaluation were distributed, recognizing and appreciating students for their achievements and efforts.

Speeches by the Class Teacher and Academic Coordinator, Ms. Rizwana Shaikh, added to the significance of the assembly. The gathering was addressed by Principal, Mrs. Kavitha Latha Kadhiresan and Supervisor, Mrs. Shalini Ninan, who applauded the students' participation and emphasized the importance of leading a balanced and healthy lifestyle.

Father's are the silent heroes who make our dreams possible"

To mark the occasion of Father’s Day on 16th June 2026, a themed assembly was organized at Al Alia International Indian School, Riyadh. Under the guidance of Class Teacher Ms. Ayesha Asna, the students of Class II G put together a wonderful programme for the students of Grade I & II.

The assembly showcased the invaluable role fathers play in shaping and supporting their children's lives. The programme featured an energetic and heartwarming dance performance by the boys of Class II G, which captivated the audience. A thoughtfully prepared Father’s Day video presentation added a meaningful touch, conveying messages of love, gratitude, and appreciation for fathers.

The gathering was further elevated by inspiring speeches delivered by the Class Teacher and Activity Coordinator Ms. Renjini Arun, who emphasized the importance of cherishing the love, guidance, and sacrifices of fathers. The programme was graciously addressed by the Principal Mrs. Kavitha Latha Kadhiresan and Supervisor Mrs. Shalini Ninan, who appreciated the efforts of the students and teachers in organizing the celebration and encouraged students to express their gratitude towards their fathers

🧘‍♀️As part of the observance of International Yoga Day, AAIISR hosted a special assembly on 16th June 2026 for students of Grades VI–VIII. The assembly was conducted by the students of Grade VII A under the mentorship of their Class Teacher, Mrs. Dhilrooba.

The programme began with a well-versed Surah recitation, followed by the School Prayer, Pledge, and an inspiring Thought for the Day. Students also presented the latest news updates and delivered a meaningful speech. The major highlight of the assembly was a beautifully synchronized yoga dance that incorporated various yoga postures.

The event was further enriched by the addresses of the Class Teacher, Academic Coordinator Mrs. Nisha Rajesh, Supervisor Mrs. Shalini Ninan, and Principal Mrs. Kavitha Latha Kadhiresan. They conveyed the message that yoga is not merely a form of exercise but a way of life that nurtures harmony between the mind, body, and spirit.

On June 6, 2026, the school community gathered with immense pride and enthusiasm for the CBSE Excellence Award Ceremony to celebrate the outstanding academic achievements of Class X and XII students from the 2024–25 and 2025–26 academic years. Honoring those who excelled in the CBSE Board Examinations, the ceremony recognized the students' hard work, perseverance and commitment to excellence by awarding trophies, certificates and special cash prizes. These prestigious accolades were presented by the school’s leadership team, including Principal Mrs. Kavitha Latha Kadhiresan, Executive Administrator Mr. Joel Jacob, Finance Manager Mr. Biju Oommen Joy, Operations Manager Mr. Nelson David, and Academic Supervisors Mr. Sreekanth Radhakrishnan and Ms. Shalini Ninan. Enlivened by vibrant student cultural performances, the occasion highlighted not only the dedication of the learners but also the essential role that parental encouragement, sacrifice, and faith play in fostering academic triumph.
