I am at the university of Pavia in Italy to give a landscape perspective to the students from the agoecology and dietary programmes. I ended one lecture with this quiz.

Today mid-seminar for some of the second year students writing their master thesis. Each student spent yesterday reading two other papers and here they discussed and helped to improve each others work. Good comments!

Food planning course. Today four group presentations where the students choose an area and make a food strategy. We got to hear perspectives on local, municipal and regional level connecting food to preparedness, unemployment, protein shift and getting food on the politicians agenda. Great job🙏
Now individually making a critique on a real food strategy. Enjoy 😊

After two weeks of inspiration the students in the Innovation and Implementation course starts working with their group project. Challanges provided by ’the real world’ who wants help and new ideas in their work. This year we are taking on large landscapes. Looking forward to see what our groups will suggest…

Today cold but good visit at Saffranstorp, the saffron farm in Staffanstorp. Students from the Agroecology and sustainable production systems course doing a farmer interview and analyzing the farm from a sustainability perspective and coming with suggestions for the future.
What we got to drink? Saffron tea 🙏🏽🥰
