We had the joy of hosting Afra Rubino for a truly inspiring couple of days! Her concert yesterday was a huge success—the audience was 100% with her from start to finish. In her workshops, Afra generously shared her flamenco expertise, diving into palmas, rasgueo, and bulerías, with even some singers joining in. Thank you, Afra, for your energy and generosity—our students are leaving full of inspiration!

We had the great pleasure of welcoming Dr Oliver Fartach-Naini (Adelaide university) as a guest teacher for two inspiring weeks with the Ingesund guitar class. Fartach-Naini gave masterclasses, shared insights from his doctoral project, and deeply engaged our students with his thoughtful pedagogy. We were also treated to beautiful performances from his upcoming recording. A truly enriching and inspiring visit—thank you, Oliver!

Duo Emtell Johansson performed a beautifully nuanced program in the chamber music hall this Sunday.

We were all truly delighted to meet the renowned Slovenian guitarist Tomaž Rajterič. This past week has been incredibly inspiring for all of us, filled with insightful masterclasses and culminating in a beautiful and memorable concert.

The Ingesund guitar students were absolutely thrilled by Martin Fogel’s inspiring visit. His masterclass and lecture were both insightful and motivating, and the wonderful concert,
where Martin Fogel joined forces with the wonderful flutist Ann Elkjär, was a true captivating performance!
