In the year 2011, Lower Dalälven was appointed as Sweden’s third Biosphere Reserve (an area of high natural and cultural values) by UNESCO, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization. We have identified four different canoeing tours in this amazing environment, from light to medium and advanced, depending on how experienced paddlers you are and in what physical condition you are.
