As part of our Term 2 Unit of Inquiry, "Sharing the Planet," our Nursery 1 and 2 little lights are learning how to be responsible stewards of animals and understanding the diverse roles pets play in our lives.
We were delighted to welcome our special guest, Mr Marc, a professional dog trainer from Pawsitive Focus, who shared valuable insights into dogs’ needs, emotions, and behaviours. Demonstrating their curiosity as inquirers and confidence as communicators, our children asked thoughtful questions about dog training and how to respond when dogs feel sad or scared.
Through this meaningful experience, our learners are developing empathy, respect, and a deeper understanding of their role in sharing the planet with all living things.
