🚒🔥 This week, our children explored the exciting topic of Firefighters and Fire Safety! They learned the "Firefighter" rhyme, identified and named firefighting equipment such as the hose, ladder, axe, helmet, and fire truck, and practised the important safety technique: "Stop, Drop and Roll."
The children had great fun engaging in role-play activities and using spray bottles to put out pretend fires. Through these hands-on experiences, they learned how firefighters help keep us safe and why they are true community heroes. 👨‍🚒❤️

快乐出游，童心飞扬！今天我们花萌的孩子们一同前往Kids Stop儿童科学馆开展假期外出活动。这里是一座通过互动游戏学习科学知识的儿童游乐场。宇宙行星、人体奥秘、饮食健康、还有各类生活常识应有尽有。还有孩子们超喜欢的超大云朵攀爬网、大型垂直滑梯、恐龙考古沙坑等，能充分释放孩子活力，是一处寓教于乐的好地方。在集体游玩的过程中，孩子们全程积极参与，大家相互提醒、彼此照顾，童真与善意在空气中蔓延。愿这份简单的快乐，陪伴孩子们度过美好的童年～

Translation: Today, the children went on an excursion to KidsSTOP Children’s Science Centre.

They explored hands-on exhibits where science comes alive—from space and planets to the human body, healthy eating, and everyday science concepts. The centre also features fun attractions such as a climbing net, a vertical slide, and a dinosaur excavation sandpit.

The children were engaged throughout the visit, exploring and playing together while looking out for one another. It was a meaningful day of learning through play and shared experience.

The children were introduced to the community helper, the custodian (cleaner), and learned about how cleaners help to keep our surroundings clean and tidy. They then took part in a creative craft activity where they made their own brooms. Using their handmade brooms, the children participated in a fun cleaning game, sweeping and collecting ‘rubbish’ around the classroom. Through these engaging experiences, the children developed an appreciation for the important work of cleaners and were encouraged to take responsibility for helping to keep their environment clean.

The children were introduced to the community helper, the dentist, and learned that dentists help to keep our teeth healthy and clean. They explored a teeth model and practised brushing the teeth using toothbrushes. The children also enjoyed removing “germs” from laminated teeth, helping them understand that brushing keeps their teeth clean. Through these hands-on activities, the children were encouraged to develop positive tooth-brushing habits and an awareness of the importance of caring for their teeth.

基于幼儿“玩中学、学中乐”的核心学习规律，本次启蒙二班的华文活动以游戏为核心载体，将抽象、枯燥的笔画知识融入到趣味化的游戏情境中。摒弃生硬的灌输式教学，通过多样游戏形式，引导幼儿直观感知不同笔画的形态、名称与特点，轻松理解笔画的基本特征。同时，本次活动旨在在趣味游戏中锻炼幼儿手部精细动作、手眼协调能力，培养幼儿的观察力、专注力和空间感知能力，帮助幼儿建立初步的笔画书写认知，在潜移默化中夯实幼儿书写基础，培养良好的学习习惯。

Children were reintroduced to the concepts of long and short through a variety of hands-on activities designed to deepen their understanding. They compared items of different lengths and identified which objects were long and which were short. The children also rolled playdough into different lengths to demonstrate their understanding of the concepts. To further reinforce their learning, they completed an art activity where they pasted straws together to represent long and short.
