into classes for childcare centres and schools. We think of ourselves as an enrichment centre, but not in the academic sense. Instead, our focus is on teaching values (sharing, patience etc) and life skills (cooking, communication skills, measuring, time management etc). The classes are deliberately kept small to no more than 6 child, so that every child receives their due attention. We will weave in age-appropriate, engaging activities from story telling to team games, to let the children interact, have fun, while learning a useful skill. Each class is deliberately kept to 1 to 1.5 hours, with activities as short as 5 minutes to a max of 30 minutes, in order to capture the most of each child's short attention span. We also find ourselves in the business of educating parents - teaching parents to be less protective, be at arms-length yet let their child exercise their independence and creativity, and watch their child blossom.
