💡 What happens when you give young minds the space to innovate, empathise, and tackle real-world challenges? You get 𝗔𝗖𝗧𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲—Anglican High School’s signature Social Studies programme for our Sec 3 students! 🚀

In ACTSperience, our students aren’t just learning about society from textbooks; they are stepping into the shoes of change-makers and problem-solvers.

Using the Design Thinking framework, groups began their journey with empathy—deeply understanding the needs of real people—before brainstorming innovative solutions for 3 key national thrusts:

1️⃣ Building a United Society 🤝
2️⃣ Ensuring a Secure and Sustainable Living 🌱
3️⃣ Growing a Strong Resilient Economy 📈

Through ACTsperience, our youths learn that they don’t have to wait for the future to make an impact. Their voice, their innovation, and their leadership are needed now to solve the challenges of tomorrow!

On May 14, AHS honoured Singapore’s education pioneers through a series of student-led activities. During recess, students faced off in a fast-paced Blooket quiz designed by our Sec 1s, learning about the contributions of pioneers like Lee Kong Chian and Tan Kah Kee. Special thanks also to Chang Si Song (3F) and Hannice Goh (4F) for their inspiring sharing during morning assembly too!🎤

Earlier this week, our Sec 3 students explored their future aspirations at 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔! 🚀

We were incredibly honoured to host a diverse panel of invited speakers—including some of our very own inspiring AHS Alumni—who graciously shared their invaluable work experiences and industry insights. 💼

Our students got a firsthand look into different industries, spanning from Law, Engineering, and Biotech to Cybersecurity, the Arts, and Entrepreneurship! Over at the booths, partners like local Polytechnics and the Singapore Youth Flying Club were also on hand to showcase exciting educational pathways. ✈️🏫

A massive thank you to all our invited guests for volunteering your time to inspire, guide, and broaden the perspectives of our Sec 3 cohort! 🌟

Leadership: where we lift each other up through the toughest challenges.

Recently, our new batch of Sec 3 Student Leaders did just that—learning to lean on one another, sharing open heart-to-heart chats about their worries, and committing to building a genuine culture of care within AHS. 🤝❤️

We couldn’t have taken this step forward without the wisdom of our Sec 4 facilitators and the unwavering support of our returning alumni. Thank you for passing the torch, mentoring your juniors, and showing what the AHS 大家庭 spirit truly means as we plant the seeds for the future.

Camp Lumina was inspired by the reminder to be the salt and light of the world. Our S3 Student Leaders are ready to lead with empathy, courage, and care for the new season ahead! 💡✨
