Through hand play activities, children can deepen their interactions with friends while developing a sense of rhythm. It’s a fun and engaging activity that is highly recommended as part of regular daily routines. ✨

今月はお別れの季節でもあります🎓

発表会で難しい曲に挑戦した生徒さんも、このたび帰国されることになりました🥲

この曲と出会ってから、自ら進んでピアノに向かう日が増え、音楽への向き合い方にも大きな変化が見られるようになりました♪

特に最後となる今回の発表会に向けては意欲も一層高まり、演奏面だけでなく人としての成長も感じることができました👏🏼

自分の限界に挑戦し、それを乗り越えることで得られるものこそ、本当の自信なのだと思います❗️

彼女の演奏は、そのことを改めて教えてくれました🥰✨

生徒の成長を間近で見守ることができるのは、講師として何よりの喜びです👐

新しい環境でも、たくさんの経験を重ねながら、自分らしく輝き続けてくれることを願っています✨

This month is also a season of farewells🎓

One of our students who took on a challenging piece for the recital will soon be returning to her home country🥲

Since discovering this piece, she began spending more time at the piano on her own, and we could see a remarkable change in the way she approached music👏🏼

As the recital approached, her motivation grew even stronger, and we witnessed not only musical progress but also tremendous personal growth🎵

We believe that true confidence comes from challenging our own limits and finding the strength to overcome them❗️

Her performance was a beautiful reminder of that👍

Being able to witness the growth of our students up close is one of the greatest joys of being a teacher🥹

We all wish her all the best in this new chapter of her life, and we all hope she continues to grow, shine, and embrace every opportunity that comes her way✨

We practiced many times during the lesson to make the performance as beautiful as possible.

【発表会曲おすすめシリーズ🎹】

今回は、発表会の定番作曲家として人気の高いギロックの《ウィンナーワルツ》をご紹介します！

ウィーンの華やかな雰囲気を感じられるこの作品は、優雅な三拍子のワルツのリズムに乗って音楽が最後まで流れていきます。

美しいメロディーと軽やかなワルツの魅力を楽しみながら演奏できる一曲です。

発表会にもぴったりの作品ですので、ぜひ挑戦してみてくださいね！✨

Today, I’d like to introduce “Viennese Waltz” by Gillock, one of the most popular and beloved recital pieces.

This charming piece captures the elegant atmosphere of Vienna and features a beautiful waltz rhythm in 3/4 time that flows throughout the entire work.

With its graceful melody and lively character, it is a wonderful piece for students to enjoy performing.

🎶今月のうた🎶
スタジオでは今、ピアノクラスの子供達が果敢に「カエルスケールチャレンジ」に取り組んでおります🐸🎵

歌の子供達にはどのような“カエル”に挑戦してもらおうか些か迷ったのですが、今回は古今東西お馴染みの『かえるの合唱』を、オリジナルのドイツ語、日本語、英語、そしてフランス語の4カ国語で歌うことで、それぞれの言語が持つ響きに親しんでもらおうかと企んでおります🐸✨

前奏と後奏が “Gloria in excelsis Deo” になっている事にお気付きでしょうか？🎶

カエルのような小さな命も神様が大切にしてくださっているように、我々のどんな小さなチャレンジも見逃すことなく、微笑ましく見守ってくださっているという想いを込めて歌いました☺️❤️

歌は身体が楽器🥁
一人ひとり持っている“楽器”が違うため、全ての調で歌うのはなかなか難しいものですが、ピアノの子供達が全ての調性でカエルを弾ける頃には、世界中の言語で『かえるのうた』が歌えるようにしていきましょうね🌎

🎶 Song of the Month 🎶
At the studio, our piano students are currently bravely taking on the “Frog Scale Challenge”🐸🎵

As for the vocal students, we spent quite some time wondering what kind of “Frog Challenge” they should try as well🤔
In the end, we decided to introduce the familiar song “Froggy's Song” in four different languages — the original German, Japanese, English, and French — so that the children can become familiar with the unique sounds and colors of each languages🐸✨

Did you notice that the introduction and ending are based on “Gloria in excelsis Deo”⁉️🎶

Just as even a tiny life like a frog is precious in the eyes of God, we performed this arrangement with the hope that every small challenge we take on in lif

🎹🪘 Rhythm activity with our group piano students!

We practiced clapping rhythms while reading rhythm notation. 🙌

Playing a different rhythm from your friends is even more challenging, but the students did a great job taking on the challenge! 👏

The students enjoyed the activity while encouraging and learning from one another. It was wonderful to see them grow together and have fun making music! ☺️🎵

🎶発表会前、最後のレッスン🎶
今回のレッスンでは、“フレーズがどこまで続いているのか”を身体で感じてもらうために、抽選で当たったお茶のぬいぐるみを使って歌いました🧸🎵

「このフレーズの最後まで足りるブレスをしたい❗️」そんなふうに、自分自身で課題を見つけながら歌う姿に、思わず感動🥹✨

暗譜の確認では、あえて普段とは違う動きをしながら歌う練習も❗️
途中で出す「走って‼️」のサインにもすぐ反応できるほど、しっかり音楽が身体に入っていました👏🏼

そしてここでも、お茶のぬいぐるみが大活躍🧸✨

人は手に何かを持つと少し集中力が分散すると言われています。
だからこそ、“どんな状況でも歌える力"を育てるためのトレーニングにもなりました🎵

本番は、ライトを浴びながら人前で演奏する特別な空間。
だからこそ普段から、色々な角度で自分自身と向き合い、得意を伸ばし、苦手を少しずつ減らしていくことが、上達への近道なのだと思います🕊️

そして迎えた本番。
生徒たちは、本当に素晴らしい演奏を聴かせてくれました☺️✨

一人ひとりの成長を、心から誇りに思っています❗️

🎶Final Preparations Before the Concert🎶

In our final lessons before the concert, we used a tea plush toy that one of the students won in a drawing to help everyone physically experience how long a musical phrase truly continues🧸🎵

I was so moved to see students challenging themselves, thinking,
“I want to take a breath that will carry me all the way to the end of this phrase❗️”🥹✨

For memorization practice, we also sang while intentionally moving in unusual ways❗️
They had memorized their music so well that they could even respond immediately when I suddenly gave the signal, “Run❗️"👏🏼
