Radiology training is evolving, and the integration of AI into diagnostic pathways is raising important questions about how we prepare the next generation of clinicians.

How do residents develop genuine diagnostic confidence? And as intelligent tools become part of everyday practice, how do we ensure they enhance clinical reasoning rather than shortcut it?

Join us on 23 June as we bring together radiology experts to explore what best-in-class training looks like today. The conversation will span education, technology, and professional responsibility, with a focus on what it truly takes to train radiologists who are not just proficient, but critically independent.

Cellulitis around the eye can present as either preseptal cellulitis or orbital cellulitis, two conditions with similar initial symptoms but very different clinical implications.

Both commonly cause eyelid redness and swelling, but orbital cellulitis involves deeper infection extending beyond the orbital septum into the orbital tissues, affecting fat, muscles, and surrounding structures. This can lead to more serious complications if not recognised early.

In contrast, preseptal cellulitis remains confined to the superficial tissues anterior to the orbital septum and is generally less severe. Distinguishing between the two is essential for timely diagnosis and appropriate management.

Dextrocardia is a rare congenital condition where the heart develops on the right side of the chest instead of the left.

This mirror-image positioning occurs due to a reversal in the heartโ€™s apex-to-base axis and may be associated with other congenital abnormalities, including situs inversus, where major thoracic and abdominal organs are positioned opposite from their usual locations.

While some individuals remain asymptomatic, others may experience complications related to associated structural heart defects. Early recognition and evaluation are important for appropriate management.
