YouthVision (@youth_vision2026) on Threads • Li Mei, 36, walked away from a stable career as an English teacher to help preserve a fading tradition. Now, as an inheritor of Fanlihua (traditional Chinese paper flip flowers), she is breathing new life into this 300-year-old intangible cultural heritage in Shanxi. After mastering more than 20 intricate steps from scratch, including hand-dyeing and crescent trimming, Li is on a mission to share the magic of this folk art with the world.
